What is the MaxPlace Forwarding Network?
The MaxPlace Forwarding Network uses the internet to allow forwarders to transfer claim placement information to receiving attorneys and to receive status update records in return. Account data in transit through the interchange website is compressed and encrypted for speed and privacy. By connecting to a special interchange website, users of CollectMaxWin collections management software can forward claims and receive progress notes for placed accounts.
Law firms and collections agencies now can have the ability to establish claims distribution networks under their direct control. Unlike other attorney networks currently in use, MaxPlace is a forwarder based system rather than a vendor based system. This means that the vendor (JST) does inspect or index the claims distributed by forwarders. The active files are always located and maintained at the forwarder's site and not on the MaxPlace interchange website.
Attorneys interested in receiving new business via the MaxPlace Forwarding Network are required to use the MaxPlace Controller (MPC) program to access the interchange website.
The MPC program has been designed to present data in formats that are compatible with existing public domain standards for attorney collection data exchange. Therefore, most collection programs can be quickly adapted to receive claims from CollectMaxWin forwarders.
What Does MaxPlace Controller (MPC) Program Do?
Allows the receiving attorney to access the MaxPlace interchange website to receive incoming claims and update information from forwarder and places them in a designated folder to be imported into your collections software program.
Sends account update files generated by your collections software program to the MaxPlace interchange website for retrieval by the forwarder.
Maintains local backups of all files sent to and received from the forwarder via the MaxPlace interchange website.
Displays a history log of transmission and reception activity. Allows retransmission of files when needed.
